Smooth and dark! A lovely first cup in the morning, nice and toasty without veering into bitter and acidic. I tend to like a wee bit more of the roasted (and likely over-roasted!) tones in coffee, but this was a fantastic change of pace. On top of that, really impressed with the care and quality that we saw with the coffee we were mailed, and the follow up email. Obviously just a great business and we're excited to tell all our friends!

This is the coffee that turned me into a dark roast convert. It's rich but not burnt, it's a fantastic cup on its own, but adding just a bit of chicory root after grinding makes a great New Orleans coffee. I can also confirm that with some sweetened condensed milk and ice, it makes a really good Vietnamese iced coffee as well.

Everything you'd expect out of a french roast, but better. The 6 bean blend is a fantastic dark roast!
